My partner has had this Remington hairdryer for about a 3 weeks, and is loving how lightweight it is and how quick her hair dried (I have short hair, however its thick and lots of it, my son has long hair that's extremely fine and has unruly curls).Our old Dyson (I know expensive!) last a little over 12 months. Last time we make that mistake .So we needed a quick and cheap replacement, and ended up with this model Remington. I hadn't really read it seen a demo on this drier, I bought it purely because we’d borrowed our parents version (older Remington) for a couple of weeks to see us through.Mum and Son have pretty much blast drying it for the 1st week and not really using attachments. After drying she’d revert to straighteners as usual.They now use the attachments for what they have been designed for, and they no longer need straighteners, hair is dried and styled in 15 mins and is smoother and sleeker than ever with the added bonus that their hair is not being damaged by harsh heat. The cold button feature works an absolute treat.I strongly advise people to watch the videos online from Remington, these show you how to use it, as it makes a world of difference. The included attachments are good quality and work well!My son used to hate washing his hair due to the marathon event of drying and styling which would take roughly an hour, by which time he would be bored, this meant his hair never looked its best. The Remington allows him to dry and smooth or have natural frizz free curls with diffuser in around 15 mins.Good Purchase for £18! Recommended.

Ive been using this product for a few weeks now. Its very light and very easy to use. I like the two flip switches they are easy to change settings while using the dryer but I havent accidentally caught them yet. The dryer is very powerful, almost too powerful I have short hair and the power of it makes it very hard to keep my hair on the comb while I style. I can see this is healthier for your hair as its got more power then heat being one of the coolest dryers ive ever used it will not burn your hair. However for me personally as someone with short hard to style fly-away hair I prefer a dryer with less power and more heat. I'm not sure why, maybe its the less heat thing but I have very porus hair that holds ALOT of water and this dryer seems to struggle more than most and it takes me slightly longer to dry my hair.I have to say tho, this dryer is fairly quiet, I always use my dryers on the hottest and fastest settings and im usually left deafened. After using this dryer, this is not the case and it also doesnt scare my cat as much. So thumbs up Remington! As my hair holds so much water a good hair dryer is essential to me in the morning. I have always found Remington dryers to be the best value for money and to last me the longest. Although this dryer is not perfect to me and my hair type, I am still satisfied with it, the pros with the cons. I'd recommend this dryer, especially to anyone with long hair fragile/dry hair if your hair is long enough to wrap around a cylinder brush, I can see that would make it 'style-able' with this.Definatly good for price.
