Well-constructed, sturdy, nice finish. This thing is solidly put-together, with no visible fixings. Simple, sleek, and a good price at the £5.99 I paid.My one niggle is it's not quite wide enough for the jumbo rolls I buy (pictured), meaning the rolls are overhanging the base, and the friction that would otherwise keep the paper from unfurling isn't there. I'd imagine it's wide enough for a standard kitchen roll.An upgraded version would maybe benefit from a second dowel to prevent this, but for a basic model and at £5.99 I really can't fault this. I actually bought a second one for my kitchen (where I make sure to keep it well away from the stove due to the aforementioned unfurling issue!)

It fulfils its purpose, and looks good. However, the holder is not quite as securely attached to the base as it could be (something noted by other reviewers), so I deducted a star for this. So do be gentle with the holder, and hold it by the base when picking it up.

Made from sustainable rubber wood, this kitchen roll holder is attractive and environmentally friendly. However the holder is not very well attached to the base. The screw thread in the base sits slightly proud, so the holder is always loose and wobbles around. Quality materials let down by poor workmanship.

Útil, bonito y fácil de limpiar. Aguanta perfectamente el rollo de papel de cocina más grande que puedo comprar en el supermercado.

Très jolis, On peut y installer 6 mugs de toutes tailles, très bonne qualité et le poids de tous ces mugs ne le déstabilisé pas, le bois est de très bonne qualité et très joli, il fait tout à fait le taf !
