I”ve dyed my hair with this, my hair was bleached and it didn”t take the chemical colour anymore, so I gave It”s pure a try. I was amazed how well the colour went into my hair and what a beautiful it turned out. the colour hasn”t wash out and I re-dyed it 4 weeks after in order to saturate the hair with the natural colour. Afterwards I chemical treat it again with a slightly darker colour (L”oreal Casting 743) and the colour stayed beautifully in my hair. I would have kept continue using the it”s pure hair dye but my roots are level 5 to 6 and I want my hair a little bit lighter than that. But this natural hair dye literally saved my hair from a bleaching it again and the fiber looks and feels much stronger than before.You can see in the picture the result of the It”s pure first application. The before colour was a bleached light not very nice blond.

I was hoping to achieve a strawberry-blonde look using an organic product on my mixed (dark and light mousey fair / white temples) hair. I even took the risk of it ending up bright henna-orange as I followed all the instructions for maximum effect (made the paste 12 hours prior - with lemon juice - and left on for two hours). Results .... smelly, messy and absolutely no difference in the colour of my hair whatsoever. Money and mess down the drain :(

I really like the effect it has on my hair. It improves both colour and condition of my hair. The only downside of this product is that it’s pretty messy to apply. But of course this is to be expected from a henna-like natural product as it’s like mud on the hair, and it’s hard to get it back off. This isn’t a criticism but an observation. I’ve used it twice now and will definitely use it again.

I was worried about using dye as I’ve developed an allergy to regular hair dye. This natural dye is brilliant, it was fun, easy to use and has hidden my grey hairs. I left it on for an hour so it has blended in my greys rather then completely eradicating them, so for total eradication of grey hairs, I would recommend leaving for more than an hour. I’m a natural auburn red head and this strawberry blond was a perfect match for me.

It smells like overpowering grassy tea, it feels like clay and has turned my usually strawberry blonde hair green, made my hair dry and frizzy and clogged my shower drain. Waste of money

Well.. Its like any other henna product to use, smells like henna but this doesn't work. At all. It says to leave it 35-120 mins so I opted for half way as I didnt want it to go too orange.I will let the pictures speak for themselves.My hair is naturally mousy so I have blonde highlights (not bleach) I thought it would take quickly!!I am sad as now I can't dye my hair after henna!

I am a natural strawberry blonde, light golden red, but age means that I am greying at the root, otherwise still have my colour. This helps lose the grey and highlights the natural golden red tones. Also very good for hair health. I also have suffered from skin cancer so anything with chemicals is a no go area and this means I can give attention to my hair without worry. I think there may actually be some turmeric in it which might even be beneficial, although this is supposition. Check with a doctor.

Have used once on my pale red hair. I was a bit nervous about using red on red plus the henna powder is green. Mixed to a yoghurty consistency so applying to hair was pretty messy so I advise that this is used in shower or bath. I left on for the minimum time (20 to 25 minutes) and I am pleased with the results. No change in my hair colour but my hair looks brighter and softer and shinier. I will use again with greater confidence next week. As this henna is in powder form, you do not have to use it all at once and I think it will last 3 or 4 applications.
