I am 38 years old and have had naturally blonde hair all my life. I have tried unsucessfully to dye it on numerous occassions throughout my life, including a trip to a very well known high end salon where they charged me £250 in 1995ish to dip dye my hair as was the fashion at the time. I wanted to keep my natural colour except for about 4 inches at the bottom of my waist length hair which I wanted red. They died it beautifully, but the next morning I washed my hair and watched all the red colour disappear down the plug hole! After 3 more trips to the high end salon I was told that my hair could not hold colour - something I have been told my other salons since.I didnt want to bother shelling out and sitting for hours in a salon for more hair colour to wash down the sink, and I didnt expect any shop bought colour to work either but thought just maybe a permanent colour would give me enough colour to have a night out with different coloured hair even if it did wash down the sink the next morning.I find it horrific and repugnant that dogs, cats, and rabbits etc., are quite literally tortured to test vanity items for humans so was thrilled to find that this dye was not only natural but completely cruelty free. I also found it appealing that it is used on dry hair because I am disabled with athritis so removing the hair wetting step most hair dyes have was an attractive prospect.I am not an expert in hair colour but have tried quite a few in the hope that they would work and this was one of the easiest to prepare and apply. After washing the colour off and drying my hair I was amazed - the colour worked! The first colour to ever take in my hair. It is a beautiful rich strawberry blonde. Exactly the colour shown on the box. I stupidly ony brought one box though and have waist length hair so really needed two. However the one box covered all my scalp and streaked through the lengths too. I have washed my hair a few times since colouring and it has hardly faded at all. I have had so many compliments on the colour of my hair and am absolutely thrilled with it.I will definately use Naturtint again and have recommended it to all my friends.

Good job if you have natural ginger hair any you wany it to look that way this I'd best shade in my opinion

I like this company and their products. It seems it compliments curly/wavy hair and not too damaging. The colours are really beautiful shades and lots to choose from. I would like for the colour to last a bit longer.

I don't know if I did it wrong somehow but parts of my hair still looked light blonde while the rest went quite a strong red colour. This could be something to do with my hair? I don't know much about hair colouring but I thought I followed all the instructions properly. However, a number of people said I looked younger (great!) & more colourful so I shall be trying again with this colour even if I have to get a friend to do it 'right' for me.

I used this on my hair (previously coloured to a dark/medium blonde) and it went a very deep red, too red for me and no hint of blonde! I had to use Colour B4 on it and it must have a very high level of peroxide in it as that stripped the red out but left me with blonde hair!The girl on the box has a lovely colour but mine was too bright red.I will say though that this covered grey very well indeed, better then any other brands I have tried.
