A big pot of Chia Seeds. I haven't compared the price here to what they are in say Tescos yet so not sure on that. I did see that supermarkets do stock them now though. I use these every day in smoothies. About a tablespoon. So far, it has lasted a reasonable amount of time, certainly over 6 weeks. Every little helps when it comes to looking after yourself so this is a step in the right direction. Chia Seeds are one of the new 'Super' foods of the moment. They apparently aid digestion, boost energy, stabilise blood sugar, lower cholesterol. These reasons are just skimming the surface of what's good about them. They have heart health benefits, omegas, combat diabetes (apparently), stronger bones and teeth etc etc I certainly have lots more energy in the morning so I can vouch for that, but I also add Baobab powder and banana to a green smoothie. It's quite a healthy start.

Two tablespoons of chia seeds are said to contain 18% of the RDA for calcium, 35% phosphorus, 24% magnesium and about 50% manganese, not to mention 10g fibre, antioxidants and the all-important omega-3.They don't really taste of anything at all but with that nutritional profile I was keen to get in on the action!I add 1tbsp to my morning porridge alongside some sliced fruit. The seeds add a bit of texture and due to the way they swell up when they meet with water / moisture they help to fill me up more. I can now last from breakfast through to lunch without snacking or getting the low blood sugar shakes that I get from cereal or granola with milk.I like this container because it's easy to get a tablespoon in cleanly, unlike some of the chia seeds which come in an annoying pouch and then go all over the place. Also being clear plastic it's easy to see how much is left at a glance.

Mangée cru la graine de chia est un trésor de bienfait. Ma recette préférée: 30ml de graines de chia, au moins 250ml de lait d'avoine, 1 grosse banane très mure, une poignée de raisins secs et 1/2 poignées de graines de tournesol. Mélanger et laisser tremper toute la nuit au refrigerateur. MMmmhhhh.
prix du port bien trop élevé
les graines de chia bio, pas de problème c'est un super produit, mais le prix du port est vraiment cher....ça double le prix du produit...faut vraiment en avoir besoin de ces graines pour les faire venir d'Angleterre ( en France, c'est en ce moment impossible à trouver)
