It's not easy to find that, unless you know a local bee club.I bit the bullet and tried Manuka, The main objection was the cost. However! It is worth it.I have settled on the MGO 263+. At first I thought it was a bit thick and it has a slightly different taste to what I am used to.Now on my third jar in as many months, I love the taste. Plus you don't need much so that must be a benefit to the waistline.It's great on Porridge, toast. I suffer from Bronchitis and this helps, so much so that I sound like one of the conspiracy theorist people, when I say, it makes a cough or sore throat go away. Maybe it's in my mind, but it seems to work for me.Now to top it all, I really enjoy the taste of this. Try it on some hot toast with butter.

I've seen some lower product ratings due to product leakage and to address this first, I can't say that I experienced that at all. Jar arrived intact with the seal firmly in place, it was well wrapped and secured. The honey was in perfect condition. If you have previously experienced package damage with your local deliveries I would say to bare this in mind before ordering; but in my opinion I would say the seller has taken due care on their part to secure the product, these leakages seem to be an unfortunate minority of orders but not the norm and you shouldn't let it put you off.It's an excellent product and has that slight bitter undertone that tells you it's the proper deal with hints of the wax and pollen granules still in it - this isn't the processed and refined stuff they often sell as honey, this really is the raw product and reflects that in it's slightly grainy texture. I've used this for sore throats, for recovery after antibiotic's have ravaged my digestive system, to help the gut during bad bouts of IBS, and generally as a pick-me-up when I have been low and wanted to boost my immune system. I've also used this for my mother in the past, applying it periodically to a stubborn leg ulcer between cleaning and re-dressing. Works amazingly. It's not a cure all, but it does definitely have the renowned manuka antiseptic and antibacterial properties and will act as a strong support if you need a little boost.I've tried more expensive manuka brands and I've tried cheaper brands and in my opinion this is the best one and the product that I keep coming back to.

This honey is cold pressed, unpasteurised, any visual analysis can verify that it looks earthier, richer, more viscous and the consistency looks right. It is not a clear transparent honey nor a mixt of corn syrups and honey blend, this is the real deal!If the separation process stated by the manufacturer is correct, this separates only the wax and what remains is pure natural honey that may contain small pollen bits as well and some tiny minuscule wax bits(remember this is cold pressed not hot pressed).This honey is considered UMF 10+ and has an MGO rating of 263+ which are both an indicator of quality.Terminology:UMF=Unique Manuka Factor, where the UMF rating reflects the concentration of MGO. To be considered potent enough to be therapeutic, manuka honey needs a minimum rating of 10 UMF.MGO=Methylglyoxal is organic with the formula CH₃CCHO. It is a reduced derivative of pyruvic acid. It is a reactive compound that is implicated in the biology of diabetes. This is considered as a healthy alternative for people with diabetes.Studies show that the ideal potency for good health maintenance is between UMF 10 and 18, as some cases have been reported where after consumption of Manuka honey with an UMF 20+ increased sensitivity was confirmed as a side effect.I have started with UMF10+ and am climbing gradually to UMF18+ in order to asses efficiency and possitive effects in consumption.Updates will be added periodically.My missus uses this honey in her face masks and I will share with you, my homemade immune booster recipe:-480 ml almond milk,-1 teaspoon organic turmeric,-1- 2 tablespoons Manuka honey UMF >10+,-Sprinkle some grinded cinnamon,-Lemon zest of 1 lemon,-Add cardamom if acceptable and voila!The flavour and taste is out of this world!Portions ready for two.Enjoy!

Love this particular brand of honey. Probably because it is complete with comb and all mashed in to give it texture and flavour. I regularly purchase this from whomever has the best price as Manuka honey is always expensive. Wonderful stuff, whether diluted in a mug of hot water as a drink first thing in the morning, or on buttered toast of seedy bread. Always delicious, and really enjoyable. What is extra good about this brand, is that it is always well sealed, so you always know you are the very first to open the jar! YUMMY STUFF!

I have a friend who loves this honey - so I got it for her for a nice surprise! She says it has good health benefits - and at this Autumn time of the year it is great with apples dipped in the honey- delicious!

The product itself is really good, the honey is lovely. But why on earth would you put such a good product in a plastic container!? Makes no sense. Honey should be in glass.

初めて購入した別のメーカーのマヌカハニーは薬っぽい味がしたのでそういうものだと思っていましたが、こちらのものは癖がなく食べやすいです。のどに違和感があるときにはゆっくりと飴を舐めるようにすると翌朝には大抵すっきりするので必需品になっています。

Souffrant depuis quinze jours de violentes quintes de toux et de maux de gorge malgré une automédication et un passage chez le docteur j'ai décidé d'avoir recours à ce miel . Le soulagement fut immédiat. Après trois jours je n ai presque plus de symptôme . Je ne sais même pas si c'est si cher que cela au regard de tout ce que j 'ai dépensé en automédication et en médicaments non remboursés. Sujette aux refroidissements , ce sera désormais mon allié.
