The design fit well with my knives, decent price and quality. Not too heavy and easy to use, and it sharpens knives and axe fairly well and good functionality.

Opened and the packaging quite battered. The outer packaging was OK. The sharpener was ‘dusty’ with small marks. Looks as if been demo or returned. Good job it wasn’t a gift otherwise I’d be returning it. Hope it works OK or it will go back.

Works well on my billhook and axe. Instructions on box were the wrong way around but look at the small markings on the actual sharpener and you won’t go wrong. Very easy to use and to keep a tool sharp.

This is a surprisingly sturdy sharpener which will keep your axe and knife in tip top condition. Its not a miracle worker though and won't bring an edge to a blunt blade, it's back to hard work and a whet stone for that job. However, if your knife or axe already has a good edge, it will keep it shaving sharp. After quite a bit of use, my Fiskars axe will still shave the hairs off your arms after a quick sharpening with this. It comes apart easily to allow for cleaning of the sharpening wheel. I was a little dubious about how strong this was going to be but I can't fault it.

フィスカースＸ11と一緒に購入しました。斧はキャンプでの薪確保、薪割りに使用してますが、使用してる時にどうしても切れ味が落ちてしまいますがこのシャープナーを一緒にもっていけばその場で研げるのですごく重宝します。何より斧研、ナイフ研ぎが切り替えでできるのがすごく気に入っています。本当に購入してよかったです！

Affilatore in ceramica dall’utilizzo rapido e intuitivo per il ripristino del filo su una vasta gamma di attrezzi. Molto semplice l’utilizzo: premendo il pulsante laterale si seleziona cosa affilare (coltelli o asce / attrezzi), si poggia poi su una superficie piana (il fondo, inclusi i piedini, è in materiale antiscivolo) e tenendolo fermo dalla parte allungata (occhio al pollice!) si passa la lama per 15 / 20 volte nella scanalatura (mantenendola perpendicolare alla pietra e SENZA esercitare pressione eccessiva). Il filo ottenuto sarà piuttosto grezzo, adatto a lavorare ma non a radersi (o a “sfilettare” fogli di carta).Molto semplice la pulizia: premendo il pulsante sul fondo la parte arancione si sfila dal corpo principale (di colore nero). A questo punto basta ripulire con aria compressa e uno spazzolino da denti.L’oggetto è durevole, portatile (Dimensioni: 16 X 3.5 X 4 cm, Peso: 90 g) e svolge bene il suo lavoro ma NON E’ UNIVERSALE. Nello specifico funziona su:1) Asce e attrezzi da taglio vari con profilo della lama dritto o curvo verso l’esterno (tipo parang)2) Acciai della serie 440X, 10XX, Sandvik o durezze equivalenti3) Coltelli con profilo scandiNon funziona su:1) Lame con profilo curvo verso l’interno (tipo roncola)2) Acciai troppo duri (ZDP e simili)3) Lame seghettateNe sconsiglio caldamente l’utilizzo su lame costose o di pregio (coltelli da cucina giapponesi che costano come un’utilitaria di seconda mano, Busse ecc.).In definitiva un oggetto comodo e dal semplice utilizzo che adempie con efficacia e rapidità al suo compito (cioè affilare una lama) purché usato in maniera corretta sugli strumenti giusti. Consigliato. Oggetto prodotto in Finlandia.

Works great! Sharpens my Fiskars axes and hatches perfectly and even sharpens a pocket knife pretty well too.
