Our Bosch kettle sprang a leak... making the wooden work surface soaking after every boil. Now these kettles don't come cheap, in fact to buy a new one would have cost us around £70.So I unscrewed the plastic outer cover to see where this leak was coming from and straight away could see there was a bead of water where the metal casing joined the plastic. So a bit of research and I found this product...main thing for me was that it was food grade which given it was in contact with water we would be drinking was the most important point.Reasonable price and prime delivery. Next day I held it in my hands...ran a bead along the seal...left for 24 hours...then the big test. Voila! No leak...and I write this several weeks since I made the repair and it still isn't leaking. THis product just saved me £70! Still have loads left for any other sealant work I might need in the future. Highly recommended.

Bought to fix the plastic gauge / window thing on the side of an expensive Alexa controlled kettle after it started to leak. Done the job flawlessly. Bonded (like an adhesive) and sealed. Can't notice it aesthetically. The stuff lief in the tube is still soft too, so might be good for something else. Recommended!

Bought to repair the level indicator in my kettle. Dissmantled, popped out the clear plastic vision window. Sealed back in with the high temp food grade silicon. Works a treat. Kettle, cheap Chinese, now has lasted 3 times as long!

I was hoping to use this to repair two electric kettles that started leaking from the transparent windows that most kettles have these days. Sadly the instructions say that this adhesive is only qualified by the FAA for *occasional* contact with food, so I guess it's not safe enough

Good glue for freezer repair
I use this to repair my new freezer internal which cracked ( a decent length to repair). Follow the instructions and I the result is satisfactory.
