I had no idea what a pleurant was until I did some research.Sometimes called 'weepers' they are figures to represent mourners and used on graves and tombs, possibly in the Middle Ages.Maybe not to everyone's taste but I put it in our garden in memory of my father who passed away.

This looks great! I purchased a few while they’ve been on offer for the medium size. I plan on having them outside but have popped one in my kitchen as I like the look.It’s a resin material and arrived perfect, just like in the picture. Had lots of comments on it.

I love this figure.................I suppose you will either love it or hate it?From a distance it looks great but up close has paint runs & casting imperfections(nothing serious).I think I may cut open the bottom(it sounds hollow) to insert some sort of weight to stabilise it more as the way it is now it 'could' blow over outside in a strong wind especially if high up & not glued down??I will let mine weather a bit then bring it inside to sand,fill & paint myself to a better finish.I have resin 75mm model figures that cost me £20ish....so this is great value.If you have never experienced the pain of the death of a 'living' person or pet.......I wont waste time explaining the appeal of "The Weeper".I would not leave it at a public grave site as someone will steal it.Perfect for Pet burial's in your garden.My wife hates it!I had seen this a few years before & she talked me out of it then & then I saw it again after more bad news & thought "yes,that is just how I feel".....that feeling has passed now but the statue reminds me to enjoy every day as a Blessing,now.

This is a beautiful statue, very pleased with it. Although it is light in weight it seems quite robust but I will not be leaving it in the garden over winter. Have left other statues of this material out all year round and they have not worn well.

I've purchased both 'M' size & 'L' size both lovely depending on your arrangements....after receiving the L I was dumbfounded as to how they could label the tiny one M...there is such a vast difference which can mislead buyers....

However, I wouldn’t pay $50 for something this small and light weight. I don’t plan on having this outside so I’m not worried about it becoming brittle or fading, but I’m fairly confident it would - likely pretty quick I think. Overall it’s good, although it’s overpriced and the quality is lacking if compared to other statues that you can buy at that price point.

One of my favorite decor pieces. Excellent sculpt and sturdily made without being too heavy for a bookshelf. Arrived very well packaged. Got the large one and it's perfect. I have mine indoors, so can't speak to outdoor weathering.
