Speedy delivery which was amazing in the weather that we are having. Easy ring pull to open and cover. Tried it today for porage and it was really tasty. I am going to use it for lunch as a milk substitute and all being well that will be the end of hauling milk home.

Great product, especially for cooking

I had not been able to find MILKMAN brand for many years and later found that they don't make it anymore. (apparently another company took over the recipe and it's back on the market and available here on Bolo) So I tried this brand based on reviews and the suggestion of friends in Europe who buy it regularly. I took one star off only because I don't like it as well as Milkman brand, but rest assured this beats every other type of powdered milk I have purchased and I very much like the packaging. Having it in a can is nice. The can is 4" in diameter and 5" in height. Basically the size of a small coffee can. It doesn't take up a lot of room, even though it looks rather large in the picture. It melts instantly in warm water, but not in cold. But it does melt within 30 seconds of stirring in refrigerator temperature water. The flavor is good, better than most, and for cooking, you can not tell the difference from real milk. I also consider this a good price for powdered milk, and remember, this is WHOLE MILK in powder form. The taste is amazing compared to normal American powdered skim milk which never even looks like real milk when mixed. I have used it with success in soups, cakes, pancakes, muffins and scrambled eggs with no odd flavor or difference in cooking times. I still prefer Milkman for drinking, but this is not bad at all, and again, probably better than anything you've ever bought in a box at the supermarket.

Perfect for travel coffee cream

We like to travel with instant coffee packets, but struggle to find a good cream option that doesn't taste like a bunch of chemicals. This product works perfectly! Travel with it in a ziploc bag, no problems. Tip if you're doing this - dissolve coffee first, then add powdered milk, mixes better for some reason.

Enhances the creaminess of hot chocolate!

Instant hot chocolate mixes are not like I remember hot chocolate when I was younger. I’m 65 years young now. Whole milk was the milk we drank when I was a child, I don’t even know if 2% and skim was available. So hot chocolate was made with Hershey Quik chocolate flavor which had the sugar already added in. Swiss Miss is my choice for hot chocolate yet when made with water, it’s not the same. Even with using 2% milk it still doesn’t taste like I remember. Adding 1-3 tablespoons of this dry whole milk powder brings it to the next level! It’s the fat in the dry milk powder that add to the flavor and creaminess of the instant hot chocolate mix. Sure, you can make REAL hot cocoa from the recipe on the box of the Cocoa mix, if you prefer cooking it on the stovetop and adding 5 ingredients + marshmallows which is far superior to the instant mix. Yet adding this dry whole milk powder is a huge improvement!
