Love this product! I love the simplicity, easy to use, no mess, easy to follow direction especially for someone like myself who at first was skeptical and not comfortable doing the "do it yourself" mode especially for first time and after a while, it became natural. Most of all, it's affordable. Love the color, and it covers my gray for at least 4-6 weeks which is long enough for me compared to 3-4 weeks. It definitely lessen the frequent visit to my hair salon. I'm so glad I found these!

I LOVE the color and I love how simple Clairol has made the process. I have medium brown hair and I travel for business often - for many months at a time. Finding someone I trusted in whatever city I happened to be in was too stressful, and several years ago, I decided to try this. The other brands made you open and use the entire container and I really want it for touch-ups, as needed. I need to control how much product I use at one time.I got good at mixing and honestly, it's a breeze.NOTE: When applying it, you may want to lightly comb it through so it blends the color with your dyed color. I do this and it blends. Use a comb you no longer need or love. It will get dyed, too!I leave it on the prescribed time and I also have forgotten and left it on about 10 minutes longer and each time it looks fabulous. I have even used it on my eyebrows, carefully. Even my neighbor/friends who get to see the gray creeping in think I have just gone to my hairdresser, so that says something.Also, I have thin hair, and keeping the color at the roots and the growing out hair added thickness again.I have a convertible and the top is down most of the time and I will say, the color does not fade.I love that it comes with everything you need for a successful root touch-up for a reasonable price.It grows out like any other hair color job.

I have been using this since they came out with it. I use it regularly, and I love it. I think it saves my hair and so much of my time. I color my hair at home (Clairol Age Defy Medium Brown), but I don't like to do a full-head color each time. I color at least every four weeks, because I hate having any gray showing on my roots at all. I don't have a lot of gray, but I just hate the appearance of not maintaining. This is so easy and so quick. You only have to leave it on for 10 minutes. It's not a ton of product, I'll give you that, but it's plenty for me. Mix it up in the little tray they give you, and then use the brush they supply to apply. One end of the brush is pointed so you can part your hair in rows to make application easier. If you leave it on longer because you get busy, it doesn't matter. This stuff is seamless. My hair looks so fresh after. Sometimes I alternate full head dye, then Root Touch Up, or sometimes I do a full head up, and then Root Touch up twice before I go back to a full head. It just depends on how much time I have or how lazy I feel. But I feel like it's just so much healthier for my hair to do this. I always keep several boxes of this in the house. It's a great product-I really do love it!
