The hinges and catches seem strong. Derwent pencils are an excellent brand. The product comes with an A5 watercolour pad of 5 sheets, a project/guide sheet for beginners, sketching pencils 2H, H, HB, B, 2B and 3B, 12 coloured pencils (ideal for blending) and painting from12 watercolour pencils (range of colours). There is also an eraser, sharpener and paintbrush. I have added to my kit a blending stump and some A5 sketching paper and the lid closes no problem. It is lightweight and easy to carry under my arm. I purchased this when on special offer at just over £16. No brainer. Excellent value and would recommend to any beginner or someone, like me, who just wants a kit for taking outdoors. I use the wooden box as a support whilst drawing.

Great little starter set especially for the kids, they loved using the watercolour pencils and paintbrush. I like that it all comes in a nice sturdy wooden box to store away when not using.

Die Farbe sind zwar alle etwas hell, aber besonders bei Schattierungen (auch farbigen) sind sie perfekt. Die Bleistifte findet sie aber am besten von allen. Schade finde ich, dass der Koffer keinen Griff hat, um ihn daran beim Mitnehmen zu halten.

The colours in this box are dull. Not the vibrancy that I expected. The price is also expensive for the number of pencils and a plastic sharpener.

Ho aspettato un po’ prima di scrivere questa recensione per valutare al meglio questo splendido e utilissimo prodotto. La spedizione è stata davvero veloce con Bolo Prime e il prodotto è addirittura arrivato prima del previsto, come sempre Bolo è una garanzia. Il venditore è davvero affidabile e svolge in modo meticoloso il proprio lavoro. L'imballaggio è molto buono, di giusta grandezza, facile da aprire e curato in modo da nascondere il proprio contenuto. Tutti i materiali che compongono il prodotto in questione sono ben realizzati nei dettagli. Tutti i componenti del prodotto funzionano alla perfezione. Il design è gradevole. Sono davvero soddisfatto di questo acquisto che consiglio vivamente per il suo eccezionale rapporto qualità/prezzo. I colori del prodotto corrispondono a quelli in foto.
