I am so pleased I chose this umbrella, so many to choose from, it is exceptional quality for the price. It is strong, robust and very effective in windy weather, won’t blow inside out. It has a nice big dome so you have plenty of visibility keeping you sung and dry. I recommend it to anyone who likes the dome shape rather than the more flat version.

This umbrella feels well made with good quality materials. It feels sturdy and made to last. The opening function is easy, no buttons just the push up type. It feels like it will withstand winds better than previous ones I’ve tried of similar design. It looks stylish and is a good true dome shape to cover your whole face and head keeping our all important hair styles safe from destruction! Perfect! And can still see where your going with it’s see through design. I am very happy with this brolly. Also it was delivered boxed so came in perfect condition, unlike previous ones that were delivered bent. Well worth the money! Thank you ☺️

Despite the fact that its somewhat garish black & white design seems to be geared more for a revival of the cult TV programme The Prisoner (remember?) this is an excellent umbrella.The stem and handle are solid (more than they appear to be at first glance) and the mechanism opens very smoothly, with no "button" and self-opening thingee...which always go wrong.The covering in rain and wind is fine and the plastic is sensibly thick.Granted, this is not a fashion accessory (i.e. a smart black brolly with wooden handle) but it does its job well.Just be careful when using scissors to open the packaging; you could pierce the plastic (no I didn't...but nearly did!)Why not 5 stars? Because it doesn't look too great...but who's looking at you when the heavens have opened anyway?

I am delighted with my new Fulton umbrella as it is very specially designed to protect in wet and strong, windy weather. It is light, so easy to open and close and it lets me see where I am going. As a daily, rural dog walker, I really need to see where I am going in the wind and rain as most of the drivers in my area rarely want to take prisoners! You will excuse my slight exaggeration about walking into lamp standards. Actually, I have to drive more than 6 miles to find the nearest one to my country cottage home.I am not new to Fulton umbrellas. I have a neat, dressy one that I keep in my car for when I am forced to walk. I also have a large, hurricane proof one which weighs a ton, which arrived with what appeared to be a large gun carry/cover and which seems to want to take my fingertips off whenever I make use of it. After a lengthy dog walk with it, my elbows feel as if they don't belong to me. This one is now going into mothballs! All three umbrellas, however, are well made to last from quality materials and beautifully finished, but my special favourite is this most recent buy. I do hope we have a wet and windy winter!

I am so disappointment with a Fulton Birdcage umbrella I recently purchased. I chose this model because of your reputation for quality and because it is widely promoted as a robust, weather-resistant dome umbrella.Unfortunately, on only the third time I used it, several of the ribs broke in the wind. This was very surprising, as I expected the umbrella to withstand normalI bought the Birdcage because I wanted something reliable, and I hope you will be able to restore my confidence in your brand.

I just love these.. yes these are big - but definitely not as wide as those massive golfing umbrellas.These keep my a good portion of my top half dry, shoulders definitely.Nicely styled hair still dry and no messed up make up either.These are pricey, but I'd saved up to get this umbrella - so worth it to save the grief that bog standard umbrella gives you, as still get soaked with those, dependng on the wind....Also, these are quite strong, they don't blow out with light too moderate winds either

Ich habe diesen Schirm gekauft, weil er diese spezielle Form hat (Birdcage/Vogelkäfig). Er wird weiter unten gehalten, damit die Schultern auch geschützt sind und kein Regen drunter geweht wird. Um dabei was sehen zu können, muss er halt durchsichtig sein. Der ideale Schirm bei windigem Regenwetter (kommt ja auch aus England)!Vor einigen Jahren hatte ich mal so einen Schirm im Fachgeschäft empfohlen bekommen und war begeistert. Da bei einem unachtsamen Verstauen im vollgepackten Auto die Kunststoffbespannung Schaden genommen hat, musste ein neuer her. Diesmal der originale von Fulton. Der Schirm ist sehr gut verarbeitet und das Öffnen mit dem speziellen Mechanismus geht sehr einfach und leicht.Da der Schirm neu ist, riecht er erstmal etwas typisch nach Plastik, was aber bei Gebrauch verschwindet.Auch hat er eine feine Puderschicht, damit der Kunststoff in den Falten nicht aneineinander klebt während der Lagerung. Geht ganz leicht ab.

Dopo infiniti obrelli distrutti dalla burrasca questo sembra avere le qualità per sopravvivere e lo spero sinceramente perchè mi piace moltissimo!Ho sempre voluto un ombrello trasparente perchè, dovendo spesso ripararmi controvento, camminare senza sapere dove stessi andando era anche rischioso, ma ne ho sempre visti con decorazioni stampate che non incontravano i miei gusti, quindi questo modello, nella sua semplicità, lo trovo veramente bello.Sembra molto robusto, il meccanismo di apertura soprattutto è molto solido e non s'impiglia nei capelli lunghi nè può pizzicare le dita chiudendolo, le stecche sono in un materiale estremamente flessibile, che mi fa ben sperare potranno resistere anche a violente folate improvvise (comunque nella tormenta mi sono abituata a chiudere qualsiasi ombrello, in certi casi resistere non ha senso).La pellicola che lo costituisce sembra piuttosto resistente, nonostante non sia troppo spessa, certamente si appiccica, ma fin'ora è stato sufficiente avere l'accortezza di lasciarlo asciugare aperto prima di lasciarlo chiuso, il produttore raccomanda di cospargerlo di talco prima di riporlo, ammetto di non averlo ancora fatto anche perchè lo sto usando piuttosto spesso.Non è eccessivamente pesante (un ombrello di legno e metallo peserebbe sicuramente di più) e la cupola è davvero profonda, a me protesse fin quasi alle spalle, trovo estremamaente comodo potersi infilare la testa dentro quando piove molto forte e guardarci attraverso, rimanendo molto più protetta dalla pioggia che continuando a sbirciare fuori da un ombrello normale che, con il vento e la pioggia che arriva da tutte le parti, non permette di proteggersi dalla pioggia.Se sopravviverà tutta la stagione lo ricomprerò per averne anche uno di scorta! O lo regalerò agli amici

These umbrellas are the absolute best! They are so resistant to strong winds compared to most umbrellas, it's awesome. They are well made, sturdy and practical given they are transparent.

L'ombrello è carinissimo. Ampio ed avvolgente e molto femminile. Permette di vedere quando cammini senza doverlo inclinare. Non posso dire quanto sia robusto in quanto non ho avuto modo di provarlo se non sul terrazzo. Credo sia ottimo con il vento in quanto essendo a cupola non di rovescia come gli ombrelli tradizionali. Forse un pochino debole il laccio di chiusura; mal di poco. Bastera' sostituirlo con un ferma capelli colorato di quelli rotondi usati per fare la coda.
