if i had looked carefully before buying , i would have seen that this tube only contains 18 g of compound.equals 18 ml.the 5 oz is the total weight ,including the card blister pack.way too expensive ,i used both tiny tubes on one engine rebuildi have now purchased a 300 ml tube of direct alternative sealant for same cost of these two tubes

We use this product daily at work. I placed this order just under 3 months ago. We started trying to work our way through the box and all the tubes were solidified.The only option on Bolo's support page was to contact Permatex directly, so I did. They informed me based on the batch number Bolo sold me a box of sealant that was 5 years old, on a product with a 2 year shelf-life. Avoid at all costs.

Le produit est très bon, joint silicone noir pour l'étanchéité mécanique résistant à l'huile et aux hautes températures.Attention cependant à la description, il est écrit "250ml lot de 6" en gros, et 14ml en petit dessous. Il s'agit bien d'un seul petit tube de 14ml seulement.

Flawless Valve Cover Seal Withstands Oil & Heat Like a Champ
Used this tube for sealing a valve cover and it worked exactly as expected. The Ultra Black RTV has a great consistency, easy to apply, and cures with excellent flexibility. It held up perfectly against oil and heat even after extended engine use. Ideal for quick repairs or touch ups. Just make sure surfaces are clean and dry before applying. Very satisfied with the performance definitely keeping this in my toolbox.
