There are less expensive options if you're into bulking to cut later and not too concerned about the calorie quality, but if you're in maintenance or taking a lean gains approach, this is hard to beat really. It just affords you more control and options with foods, while having the helpful bump with the protein targets with this protein powder. Not as tasty as some (chocolate), but doesn't taste bad by any means. It's nice. I rate this very good. I trust the claimed protein concentration. My muscle gains are consistent to previous brands I've enjoyed, just without the waistline expansion. For all the reasons I've written about, I think yeah, it earns its gold standard name for my needs. Nice work ON. Very nice.

I'm not going to write a long review; however, I have trained for 20 years and achieved much in my training and continue to do so. Supplements is something I have experience with as I have tried many! Are supplements worth it? Yes and no. Some are, protein being one. Find a good one and keep it!!! Try many to find that one, but once you do, keep it. Merely find a better price for it.This is the best protein Whey I know. **"Not the best protein"** but the best Whey Concentrate for money. I have used so many! The other true rival and it is very much discussed over the web is, MyProtein Whey. Great value, good tasting, gentle and works. But having used both for plenty of time, OP-N-GSW is just the king in my opinion. I use three mounted scoops a day and it lasts me over two months, tastes amazing (vanilla and choccy being faves from the selection available) with many flavours to choose from at other suppliers/websites. I also find this the most gentle on the stomach for those that suffer, and it does not bloat me!! Only milk (that I use) cause any issue which I don't really experience with milk, so its the supplement and ingredients that these powders contain for sure. I found this the best price on Web, jointly with dolphin-fitness but Bolo Prime delivers in one day and has more flavour variety. Well done Bolo!Hands down for me, best Whey Concentrate/Isolate supplement on the market for your money. As I said, you may have better products but for money, works, value, dosing and all other factors I've mentioned above..............?

It’s the Gold Standard for a reason.Awesome protein powder, mixed well and great flavours. And no digestion issues for me .The perfect supplement for those unable to get a sufficient amount of protein on board throughout your day.I found it perfect for a protein ketone diet.Such a pity the price has gone up exponentially since Covid 😞

Good product but they should change the bag. Received today with a giant hole and half of the protein spilled in the box. Go for the tube.

I bought this product after buying the Optimum Nutrition Strawberry flavor which was awful in water and after doing some research I heard that the double chocolate was by far the best tasting product and I would have to agree.I mix this with a small amount of water, no more than half a glass (200ml) or a bit more if I use two scoops. It makes a nice thick creamy shake that tastes just like a chocolate milkshake without the milk. Its packed full of protein (23.9g) and has no added sugar (max 1g of carbs per 30g scoop) in comparison to the strawberry flavor and therefore no difference in Carbohydrate content (in case you're on a low carb diet).I have been using this product for 2 weeks as a weight loss and toning program where I cut out carbs and replace it with as much protein as possible. This is a perfect shake to take with you to work if you do not have time for lunch and keeps you going for hours. I feel very full after drinking one and certainly gives you the boost you need.If you're looking to drink this with water then definitely buy the Double Chocolate flavor. It dissolves very quickly in water leaving no lumps, I just use a fork to give it a few whisks and its ready to drink. Would definitely recommend.

I have used quite a few different protein powders over the years as I like to try different things out until I find something I really like.This was that thing.The double chocolate flavour tastes great (subjective opinion), the powder blends great in both a blender and in a shaker - not many protein powders can claim the latter! What this means is that you don't taste clumps of congealed product every now and then and you certainly won't choke to death* when taking a sip during (before or after) a workout.*I take no responsibility for you choking to death on this product.Gone are the days of you having to drink your protein shake slowly in the corner of the gym near the ridiculous thigh machine in fear of getting caught coughing all over the gym and forever being known as 'that guy who got caught coughing up protein and spaghetti near the ridiculous thigh machine.'Gone are the days of you wondering why everyone is laughing at you this time and not your biceps because you didn't realise that you were smiling with a scoop of protein glued together with liquid stuck to your teeth.Gone are the days of after a long hard workout, you finish your refreshing protein drink, your muscles increase at sheer testosterone indueced manliness of it all and feeling like a man you walk over to the sink and opening your shaker using your newly formed deadlift grip, you bench press the tap on for three reps and start washing the shaker only to realise that all the protein is still there stuck to the lid. Down the sink it all goes along with your gains as your muscles shrivel up like a bodybuilders youknowwhat. You were better off doing cardio.This powder is revolutionary.This even mixes really well with oats. Try some oats with milk, blueberries, honey and a scoop or two of this in the morning for maximum gains.
