For something of low price I would still expect better quality in fact, if you cannot better the quality for the price you might as well up the price and up the quality because frankly its not really worth selling at all, not even for kids, if it was say 4-5 pounds and made of metal instead of plastic with a better jewel or crystal in the middle I would think it was worth making and selling, as things are I say poor choice. Silver would look better than gold and so would steel like the cheap transformer necklaces have high quality for the price which is not much more that this. You could pick up a clear plastic jewel that looks better than this red one that looks a bit bodged and buy them in bulk or paint a metal symbol in the middle or even put a transfer on the center that is protected by a thin plastic covering to protect from the wet which will give it some meaning. Sometimes a little constructive criticism helps business so you can make more money and better quality products. Perhaps if you showed them how you have upgraded from the old to the new on the front or back when people buy they would feel more satisfied and more likely to purchase. So I am not trying to be cruel here but trying to help.
