Does exactly what it should, except there is quite a bit of splintering on the sawn off piece. I've tried varying the speed at which I pull down the blade, but still splinters. Masking tape works ok, but is a bother if you're doing quite a lot of cuts. I've ordered a 36TPI blade to see if that helps.Minute wobble on the vice, and the V jaws are only on one side of the vice so you have to be a little more careful making sure the dowelling is right inside the V. Otherwise you might get less then perfect right angle cuts. The thingymebob that allows you to make the same measured cut over again is excellent, just make sure you flip it out of the way before cutting. The micro adjust feature is brilliant, letting you move the blade to position rather than moving the stock to the blade end.All round, exactly what I wanted. Surely beats hand sawing with a crappy mitre box and razor saw. Just wished they made special blades for woods. I think the 1.14mm thick blades are great for general use with metals, but on woods a thinner blade (like my razor saw) might give a cleaner cut. Another suggestion would be to have variable speed, enabling you to slow down towards the end of cutting stock, minimising flashing/splintering.

This was good for the short time the drive belt lasted, which was not very long, unfortunately after light use on plastic and copper pipe the belt has started to slip badly. I understand its a toothed belt, so must be now toothless. The saw is now rendered useless as I cannot get a spare belt anywhere, so for the want of a new belt, I have a useless chunk of metal on my bench.

When in doubt get a German to build your tools. I thought these were a gimmicky model maker tool and wondered how they got the prices they demand. But now I’ve got one you can colour me impressed. Perfect out the box, holds square and angle perfect and gives a great finish with the metal blade.

Klare Kaufempfehlung.Besser mehr Geld ausgeben für sowas als zu wenig und dann ne Kindermaschine zu bekommen die nix kann.Diese Maschine bekommt von mir 5 Sterne und wenn ich mehr geben könnte würde ich es tun.Sie bekommt jetzt einen netten Platz in meiner Werkstatt. Vielen Dank an Bolo und an den Hersteller dieses tollen Produkt.

Máquina perfecta para su tamaño
Tronzadora, cortadora con mucha potencia, lo cual deja los cortes limpios que no necesitan lijarse. He cortado latón y aluminio y funciona muy correctamente. Va muy protegida para evitar accidentes. sólo asoma la parte de la hoja de sierra que está cortando. Tengo varias herramientas Proxxon y de todas estoy contento.
