5.0 out of 5 stars Very good for weak hands, arthritis, disability adaptation
If you want a strong pair of long scissors on a stick, buy these. If you want a violent set of hardy bush trimming garden shears - maybe not? These easily slice through grass, nettles, docks and young brambles with ease. Using a secateur type action which is easy on the hands. I can go trimming the unwanted plants while having a gentle stroll in the garden, carrying out maintenance and stopping things growing that I don't want. I find that's enough until grass or other plants overtake the thugs and suppress them. I can snip around the lawn where the dog likes to go, keeping grass short and mess easy to find and remove. The blades can be adjusted in angle so as to trim horizontal or vertical and all angles in between. They feel sturdy although they're beautifully lightweight and the blades make a lovely swoosh snip noise in use and in practice.I think they're great for what I wanted.
4.0 out of 5 stars A cut above the rest?
I bought these shears after reading many reviews so I generally understood the issues others had experienced. I wanted a single light weight single tool to trim the edge of my lawn at an affordable price. The shears are well made and typically innovative in design. They are very light so would be good for people who find heavier garden tools tiring to hold for long periods. The rotating head is easy to use and negate the need for two different tools which is good when storage is an issue. For safety sake the blade should be locked before attempting to turn it as they are very sharp. On the down side the blades are quite lightweight compared to the older traditional edge cutters which comes as a bit of a surprise at first. They have one fixed blade and another that moves across it. This means that to cut vertically you really need the fixed blade at the bottom in order to be able to guide it along. If it is held the opposite way the moving blade constantly bumps up and down on the ground making it difficult to get a good line. This comes with practice. The design allows for both left and right handed use.Cutting feels very much like cutting hair with a scissors, lots of small snips and soon you have the desired effect. If you are patient and accept that these shears are not the traditional heavy weights (so don't try and cut thick stems) they will do a good job, it just takes a little longer. If you can get these around £20 then you have a good deal.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sharpe does good edges
I al ways love this scissors as easy to use and tidys up quicker than trimmers and good quality lasts long.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality
Easy to use, lightweight to carry around with you. Sharp for cutting grasses, green and dried up versions. The same as ones I've had for years
1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing product
I purchased these grass shears based on the Fiskars reputation for quality product and unfortunately did not check the reviews beforehand. Right from the first use the sliding blade jammed on the fixed blade, cutting a small sliver of metal from the edge of the blade. This happened frequently and it seems to me that the blades were not aligned correctly to slide over each other in the correct scissor action.Even on the few strokes where the blades did not jam, the cutting action was poor and the design of the handles was such that they nipped my fingers and palm.Overall, a poorly designed and manufactured product which even if it had worked correctly, would surely not have lasted as the materials used were clearly not designed for durability.I had expected better from a Fiskars product and on this basis am glad that the other gardening tools I bought were not of this brand. I certainly will not be buying Fiskars again if this is typical of the design and quality of their products
5.0 out of 5 stars easy to use
bought these for the wife who like to garden and was finding it difficult to cut the grass close to wooden borders she finds these easy to use and very light.
3.0 out of 5 stars They did the Job - for a while
I've edited this review after using them for a few weeks as a full time gardener and downgraded the rating after they have given up the ghost. They fell apart the other day and are unrepairable - and I certainly tried fixing them. The blades are held on with an unique allen bolt with a thick collar/shaft and spring that screws directly into plastic. Into plastic? If the plastic had a metal insert for the bolt to screw into, they would have lasted a lot longer. After a customer loaned me some Wolf Garten shears, I'll be be buying those as they are much sturdier. The blades are not bendy and they cut very well all along, including the tip.***** NOW FOR THE REVIEW FOR WHEN THEY'RE NOT BROKEN (which was upgraded to a five but back to a 3 star *****As grass shears I was expecting something with somewhat sturdier blades and was quite surprised to see how flimsy the blades initially appeared. They were purchased for reaching grass where the strimmer can't (or can - but will destroy your fence or flowers or hedges) and the tips don't seem to cut as well as I was expecting in the hard-to reach areas, but with practice they do most of the time. For raised lawns with areas under shrubs/flowers etc that can't be strimmed vertically, it only takes a few seconds to trim a good few edged area of grass as lawn shears need quite a deep bed to work properly. They are also ideal for snipping away spent snowdrop, daffodil, crocus and tulip leaves in the middle of flower beds.I take them on every job and am more than satisfied that they are up to the job because other manufactures seem frond of flexible blades too. I would fell lost without them now.

Quel confort !
Ciseaux rotatifs
Coupe très bien et les ciseaux peuvent très facilement être tournés sur les côtés, afin de pouvoir couper dans toutes les positions. Cela reste des ciseaux, donc pour de la finition.
Grass edger
Great product, I had an older model for years. It broke. I like it so much that I bought a replacement. The product has been totally reengineered but it seems to work just as well as the original.
muy decepcionante
muy mala calidad. Las tijeras de mi cocina pueden hacer un mejor trabajo . No puedo cortar nada. el producto es muy pobre. no hace lo que dice. desperdicio total de dinero
