I’ve ALWAYS been a fan of Jim (Vic Reeves) from the 80’s. Since he has given up his comedy roles with Bob Mortimer, he is a fantastic artist and particularly love all of his paintings. This book is absolutely stunning. It shows a different side of Jim, his creative side and it just goes to show he can be serious in what he does. The tv programme which accompanies this book is brilliant. Jim and Nancy are a brilliant match together, a match made in heaven. I love the quirkiness of them both together and seeing them who share their love of birds. I’ve already preordered his next book in this series. What a legend Jim is! Brilliant!

The media could not be loaded. Jim Moir has done an excellent job of portraying British birds with his talented artwork. Overall, the quality of the book is excellent and would fit nicely on a coffee table or bookshelf.Nice forward by Chris Packham and I love the facts that accompany the artwork.If you're looking for a nice little artwork book and have a passion for nature, then this is definitely for you!

Bought this book for my husband who’s a bird fanatic and an artist himself. He liked the book and knows every bird in it but said some of the illustrations were ‘dodgy’ - he didn’t recognise from the illustrations a few of the birds he knew well. Overall though he thought the book was good and some of the illustrations were excellent

As a keen watercolour painter, I have been enjoying the Jim Moir (Vic Reeves) series on the TV. I admire Jim's technique, and the reproductions in this book are excellent, and will bring back happy memories of the TV series.The quality of the colour prints is good - I just wish they were bigger, but we have had a lot of pleasure out of this one. And perhaps a bit of inspiration too.

This wonderful book was a gift for my ‘birdy’ husband, but I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the artwork and little nuggets of information. Had no idea Jim (Vic Reeves) was such an accomplished and stylish artist. A must for anyone interested in birds.
