Sandra IngermanSandra Ingerman, MA, is an award winning author of twelve books, including Soul Retrieval: Mending the Fragmented Self, Medicine for the Earth, Walking in Light, and The Book of Ceremony: Shamanic Wisdom for Invoking the Sacred into Everyday Life. She is the presenter of several audio programs produced by Sounds True, and she is the creator of the Transmutation App. Sandra is a world-renowned teacher of shamanism and has been teaching for more than 30 years. She has taught workshops internationally on shamanic journeying, healing, and reversing environmental pollution using spiritual methods. Sandra is recognized for bridging ancient cross-cultural healing methods into our modern culture, addressing the needs of our times. I have a few of Sandra Ingerman's audio courses - soul retrieval, basic journeying, shamanic meditations, etc. - but this one brings together lots of basic underlying and background 'architecture' about working with rituals / ceremonies, physically and remotely (virtually). The case studies and the anecdotes are really helpful, too.This is one of those resources that I can see myself returning to again and again, for reference. Having it on audio allows me to let my imagination work while I listen (as it invites you to make your own adjustments / input to the ideas contained in the book), so I'm glad I started with this.I'll probably get a Paperback copy (so that I can add notes / highlighting), but a part of me kinda wishes there was a Hardback edition. Still, I can highly recommend this - its sterling stuff.

A must read for all who want to connect with the divine compassionate spirits who are there to help and assist us with our intentions, blessings and prayers for all who wish to see love , light and compassion embrace our beautiful planet and all sentient beings who live on it.

Everything about this book is lovely, from the design to the tone of the author. She makes shamanism and holding ceremonies accessible for all who are interested and allows for personal reflection, encouraging personal development of practices. It feels authentic without complicated language or concepts. I'm only half way through and I was already inspired to hold a personal ceremony. When I read this book I feel the love and the joy encased in it. I've already recommended it to a few friends.
