I came across this book just by accident and after a bit of humming and ahhing I decided I would give it a chance. Oh boy, I am a glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even though I went through a whole rollercoaster of emotions - laughing out loud, groaning and gasping as I followed Josie's journey.Josie is a character who I immediately emphasised with. Being the same age her (although I'm male), I perfectly understood her plight at just passing 50, feeling like being stuck in a rut and then deciding to take on a life-altering decision. Something I also did. Whereas I became a writer, in the book she becomes a farmer (yeah, totally the same!).As we follow Josie's journey of self-discovery, along the way we meet various interesting characters. But her story is also filled with all sorts of mishaps, laugh-out-loud moments, family dramas and heart-wrenching revelations.Sara Cox writes this story so well, you find yourself lost in it. It's easy to read and the story flows so well too.I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

An easy to read , warm and cuddly book. The characters are likeable and even through the twists and turns I was wishing a special ending for Josie and Will.I would recommend to family and friends.

This is a good book, I found it quite slow to begin with but things picked up and I liked the humour and general story, also the unusual and seemingly knowledgeable setting of the farm.As at least one other reviewer has picked up, this book really needs a better edit - in terms of storyline (there is one major plot hole in my opinion) and more detailed copy-editing. As an independent author and publisher it does grate on me when the bigger publishers don't put as much effort into the detail, it's not respectful to readers or the author.

Really enjoyed this book. Great story , good characters and very easy to read. Would recommend. Story was well developed and you could feel the journey the main character was going on.

Not my usual genre of fiction but I really like Sara on the radio so thought I’d give it a go. I thought it was well written with a good level of description to capture the reader’s imagination. The storyline was well paced to maintain interest and overall I really enjoyed it.
Feel good, easy read.
A few plot points rushed to tie up loose ends, but a good easy, enjoyable read.
