Great textbook for enthuisiast beginners

I'm using this book for hobby purposes alongside with the following others:- The Art of Electronics- The ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications- RSGB The Amateur Radio HandbookEach of these books has it's strengths. This book has great illustrations, lots of practical examples and excercises to work on. Usually I read multiple books to fully understand a topic. I defginitely would buy this book again.What I don't like that much:- Weight: Heavy piece with 1.280 pages - definitely challenging to read in bed ;). I would prefer a version spread over multiple physical issues like the ARRL Handbook.- Layout: Sometimes small fonts. Might not be a challenge for young readers though ;)
