I got this back in dec 14, this book has been a absolute God sent, it has all the information you need to help you complete your QCF Level 2 Certificate in Support teaching and learning in schools, it is easily layed out unit to unit so you understand the units and gain moreInfo, it also has amazing portfolio builders that help you add extra on your assignments, I highly recommend this book to anyone who is undergoing training as a TA because this book right here helps you and gives you a better out picture what the roles of a TA does eg safeguarding, communication development and so on! It also has a disc which may help you for your observations because it certainly helped me! 10/10

I am currently nearing the end of the CACHE Level 2 Teaching Assistant course and can quite honestly say that there have been times where this book has been of more help than my tutor.I would definitely recommend picking this one up for any aspiring TA's as it is full of helpful tips and information and goes through the criteria step by step.

This book was most helpful when I was completing my Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning. The layout and content supported my course well and helped me to complete my units.If there is a down side, it's that some of the information on legislation is now slightly out of date - as pointed out by my course tutor.Still a very helpful book.

I bought this book just before I started my Level Two Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools course and it helped me immensely with my coursework. It is a great introduction to a career in education, especially to those who have little or no previous experience with working in schools. I have held onto my book as even now it comes in useful for reference. Would highly recommend!

I'm onto my third unit training as a TA and I find the info contained in this book handy in assisting with the completion of the worksheets. It's enabled me to look ahead before we study a topic to give me an idea of what to expect. Well worth the money and definitely helping me.

I bought this book to guide me through my Level 2 Certificate course and was delighted that it quickly became my Bible. Louise has written the guide in such a way that it is easy to refer to the National Occupational Standards by title, whilst moving through each chapter. I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone starting a Level 2 STL course.

If your doing this course get this book, it has everything you need for passing it. Laid out as your tasks are and easy to read and follow to give you great ideas of what to include in them. Even looking on internet I was getting mixed up with what I was meant to be putting. It has DVD inside back cover. It is my savoir for getting me through as only one at my school doing this course. So glad I found this book.
