I really enjoyed this book. Loved the light hearted romance throughout the storyline. The description of the Welsh countryside was beautiful and the fast paced journalism of London not so much if you are a country person. Don’t want to give too much away to spoil the story. Well done Claire hope there is more to come. Will pass the book on to others to enjoy as I have read the book over 4-5 days.

I don't read fiction at all. This is my first in over 50 years but I thought it sounded interesting. And it didn't disappoint.A very easy read and excellent storyline. So good I didn't want it to end. I hope there is a sequel to this one.

A very likeable first journey into adult novels. A tender warming story that was very relatable for me whilst also a bit predictable. An enjoyable read.

Gentle and sensitive with an interesting story line weaving through. So glad my book club recommended this book after seeing Clare at her book signing.

I don't know how the main character didn't guess why she'd been left the farm, and the outcome was very predictable, but overall it was a 'feel good' story. Not a book I'll keep to read again - hence only 3 stars

I truly love an uplifting story about the support of a community and finding romantic love. Books like that have become my safe haven while the world has gone mad over the past years. I have been longing to read one that wasn't hetero normative. This story is so beautiful and gentle and beguiling, like a long country walk with a bit of rain and a warm fireplace in the pub at the end. Please write more stories like this.
