Taylor. It is a very timely novel and it is sad and terrifying that there are so many cases of stalking in the UK and in the world, it’s what makes this book so frightening as well. C.L. Taylor creates a terrifying scenario in her latest novel; we meet Alex, Lucy, Bridget and River, who are all victims of stalking. They have come together to form a group, as a way of looking out for each other. A very clear threat is soon made against them and they have to go to extreme lengths to protect themselves.C.L. Taylor does a brilliant job of making the sense of threat to the group real and their fears come across on the page very well. When it is clear that their lives are in danger, they embark on a dangerous mission, to tag each other’s stalkers, so they know where their stalkers are at all times, but this certainly isn’t without risk; they need to make sure they carry this out without their stalkers realising what’s happened. There is a very scary race against time element in this book as each chapter counts down to the day when one member of the group will be killed. This is how C.L. Taylor builds the tension and it kept me turning the pages.Through her character’s you can see how stalkers have power over their victims and how easily they can manipulate situations. This book does shed light as well, on how alone victims of stalking are, and how very little help they get from the authorities, particularly if their stalker hasn’t been arrested. C.L. Taylor draws on her own experiences in her most recent novel, and this comes through in the character’s well; it’s what really adds to the emotional depth of this book, and it drew me further into the lives of her characters.I always fly through C.L. Taylor’s books and I raced through Every Move You Make. I’m always excited whenever she has a new thriller out and I’m desperate now to get my hands on her next novel.

The characters were really well created, a collection of people who took time to gel because they wouldn't have likely come across each other or been natural friends other than through the shared secret that drew and glued them together.I really enjoyed this book and found it difficult to put down. I think in part that's because the characters were so different that there were parts of each of their personalities that I connected with and as a result I was invested in every chapter equally.I must admit that I found their unwillingness to go to the police very frustrating at times but as a victim of stalking and with the worrying facts Cally presented in her acknowledgements it looks as if the characters didn't just have some secret of their own to hide but had lost faith in a system which didn't do enough to protect them, not just once but time and time again. That is a real cause for concern, as is the way an eloquent speaker is always more easily believed.Cally Taylor does such a good job at casting doubt over her characters version of events. This is so cleverly handled and highlights both the issue of perspective and the importance of hearing both sides of a story but also how much doubt one perspective can throw on another person's version of the truth. Regardless of how honest a character has convinced themselves and others that they are, the truth of a situation that people come away with is often based on the strength of both parties to convince others. This psychology from the seeds Cally has planted will stay with me for a long time.

Every Move You Make was a captivating read - I couldn’t put it down because I needed to know what happened next. I also really liked that the author featured a male stalking victim as a main character, it was a refreshing change.However, all the main characters sounded the same. The ending caught me by surprise, which I appreciated, but it felt rushed and a bit messy, which was frustrating after all that build up. I would have also liked to have seen more of the aftermath, and what happened with Vanessa.Overall, it was an okay read. It was gripping, but lacked depth in certain areas.

Brilliant! I have loved every book of this authors that I have read. Like her I have also had several bouts of stalking in my time and this really resonated with me. Talk about on edge! A great selection of characters who were supporting one another....mainly, don't want to give anything away! It will keep you up I promise you that, wanting to finish it!

Borrowed this on my kindle as a perk of having Prime membership. Started off well, but descended into a bit of a farcical story. Some of it seemed very far-fetched.

I got to about 40%, but for me, there were too many characters, doing too many things. I found it too hard to remember who is doing what and to whom. Just too much for an eighty year old memory.

Fantastic book.

Pay the few extra dollars and get a new book. Mine had some pages ripped out, and some pages folded over.Black ink or something on quite a few of the pages and it looked like it had been dipped in some liquid because the bottom of the pages were water damaged
